 Featured Dancers: All Genders, 16-35 Featured Dancers will be wolves (for Wolf Chase #1 and #2), napkins (for Enchanted Ensemble), and will be featured dancers in the Villager Ensemble. Ensemble: Villagers: Includes Shepherd, Marie, Tavern Master, Laundry Lady, Baker, Milkmaid, Flower Seller, Sausage Curl Lady, Candle Maker, Hat Seller, Bookseller, Cronies Castle Staff: Becomes various objects, including a Gargoyle, Flatware, and Napkins. 

NOTE: There are many additional ensemble roles. The ensemble is very busy throughout the show. There are several solo lines in songs like Belle and The Mob Song, and many great dance numbers (“Gaston,” “Be Our Guest,” and “Human Again”). The Enchantress, Young Prince, the Baker, the Baker’s wife, and the Bookseller are all chorus members. For Auditions Please Prepare: 

Singing: Two minutes of any song similar to songs sung by one of the characters you hope to play in this show. We encourage you – thought it’s not required – to audition using one the songs from Beauty & the Beast.  We will not have a piano available for auditions, so please email your favorite recording (karaoke or instrumental only) or link to a web page containing your favorite backtrack you’d like to use at least 24 hours in advance of your audition so we can have it ready to go for you.

Acting: All in attendance will read with others from scenes in the script.

Dancing: Performers interested in auditioning for a feature dancer role (all ages welcome) will be asked to attend the audition at 6:00 p.m. with a one to two-minute dance routine. Plan to provide  your own music.
