About Our ChurchWe are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA), which means we are part of the Reformed tradition and believe that we are all God’s children, created and loved equally, without exception and beyond measure.
“Transforming lives through the love of Jesus Christ”
In Christ, we experience the love of God that accepts us as we are – not as we’re supposed to be. In turn, this unconditional love transforms our lives and empowers us to offer the same transformation to others.

I am seeking a Spiritual Home
Are you searching for a community in which to explore spiritual questions without being given a set of “right” answers? Members of First Presbyterian Church are simultaneously challenged to rigorously examine our faith as well as given the freedom to express it.
FPC offers a place to ask questions, to engage in dialogue, to meet others on their spiritual journeys, and to find a welcoming spiritual home.
At our best, Presbyterians challenge each other to live out our spirituality and values in the world. Deep reflection leads to clarification and direction on how to connect with others, help our community and respect our environment.
If you are seeking an open and free setting to examine your thoughts and beliefs surrounded by those who are also seeking to improve themselves and the lives of others, please join us.
Sunday worship services are at 9:00 and 11:00am (English speaking) and also 11:00am (Korean speaking). Or, stop by and talk to one of our friendly pastors
Frequently Asked Questions
What are your worship times?
We worship every Sunday at 9:00 in the Chapel and 11:00 in the Sanctuary. There is also a Korean language service at 11:00 in the Chapel led by Rev. An, our associate pastor for Korean language ministry. On the first Sunday of the month we celebrate the Sacrament of Communion with an open table. Children attend worship for the first 10-15 minutes before leaving for Sunday School.
Exactly where are you located?
We’re located at 300 West Wayne Street across from the main library.
What do you offer children?
Children are an active and vital part of our faith community. We believe that children are not only the church of the future; they are the church of the present, too. For information about our education program for children, click here.
Where can I park?
Parking is available in the lot off of Wayne Street and the lot off of Berry Street. There is plenty of parking downtown on Sunday mornings.
What should I wear?
There is no dress code here. Our members dress comfortably. For some, this is their “Sunday best” while others prefer simple, casual clothes. Dress as you like.
Do you have childcare available?
Childcare for children ages 5 and under is offered from 8:30-12:30 every Sunday. We have a professional, trained caregiver who has gone through a criminal background check prior to serving in any area dealing with children. You’ll find the nursery on the first level of the church off the lobby (closest to the Berry Street entrance), just a few steps away from the Sanctuary.
