Join Fort Wayne Interfaith Clergy, faith leaders and community members as we celebrate the accountability that happened with the guilty verdict in the murder of George Floyd, while acknowledging that we still have a long way to go for justice. We will gather peacefully at 5:15pm, Friday, April 23, at the Courthouse and conclude by 6pm. Larry Gist, President of the Fort Wayne NAACP will speak, along with members of the community, concluding with the singing of Lift Every Voice.
Churches and organizations participating include First Presbyterian Church, Imani Baptist Temple, Plymouth UCC, Unitarian Universalist of Fort Wayne, Trinity English Lutheran, Beacon Heights Church of the Brethren, Poor Peoples Campaign, Destiny Life and more.
