First Presbyterian is a stop on this annual Three Rivers Festival event sponsored by the local chapter of the American Guild of Organists. The organist will be Gabriel Ackerman, a recent graduate of DeKalb High School and organist at First Methodist Church in Auburn. The free event starts at 2pm and lasts about 45 minutes.
The 2024/25 FPC Music Series opens with Songs of the Heart, featuring baritone John Tibbetts, mezzo-soprano Victoria Isernia, and organist Raymond Chenault! They will perform an eclectic mix of songs including Broadway show tunes, opera, and spirituals. The concert is free and open to the public!
Hymn Festival with Tom Trenney, Sunday, October 20. One of the country’s finest hymn festival leaders will conduct the FPC choir and guest choirs invited to sing for this event. The Hymn Festival is free and open to the public.
