Presbyterian 101 – Virtual Class

May 13 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

What does it mean to be a Presbyterian? How are we different from Methodists, Lutherans, and other Christians? Are we all the same?

This class is for people who want to know more about being Presbyterian and for those wanting a refresher. So whether you’ve been a member of First Pres for 50 years or you’re considering becoming a Presbyterian — or just curious — this class is for you.

We’ll cover the topics of grace, sin and evil, what it means to declare Jesus as Lord and Savior, how we approach the Bible, and how we live out our faith in the world today. Each class is an hour and will open with a brief 10-minute video followed by a guided discussion.

You can join the class via Zoom with the following link (https://zoom.us/j/96589737975) and meeting ID: 965 8973 7975. There’s no password but you’ll need the link and/or ID. If you take part via Zoom you’ll be able to ask questions in real time. If you want to be more of an observer, you can watch live through the church’s Facebook page. You’ll be able to ask questions in the comments box on Facebook.

I hope you’ll join us and pass this invitation along to others. It’s a 5 week class but you can hop in and out of the class at your leisure.
