"Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth, worship the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing." Psalm 100: 1-2 (NRSV).
Music plays a significant role in the life of First Presbyterian Church. We offer musical opportunities for all ages. The Chancel Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings (September-May) and the Handbell Choir also rehearses on Thursday nights (beginning in October ). We are also fortunate to have a wonderful Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ that enriches our worship service each Sunday morning. Outside of worship, this instrument is often heard in recitals. It also is featured in the National Organ Playing Competition held in even-numbered years. There is also a smaller organ in the chapel. For more information on our organs, click here.
The Music Series is an integral part of the musical offerings presented to the congregation and Fort Wayne community. Click here for a list of upcoming concerts. Everyone is welcome to attend!
