The Children, Youth, and Family Committee would like to invite you to participate in the Great American Cleanup on Saturday, May 4. All are welcome. After the work is done, a volunteer celebration with food, drinks, prizes and live entertainment is held at Headwaters West from11:30am to 2pm. There is no RSVP but the first 12 respondents will get a free T-shirt and gloves.

Child Care

On Sunday from 8:45am to 12:15pm, child care for infants through 5-year-olds is provided in Room 101 on the first floor.  Please see an usher on Sunday for directions.

Sunday Children's Church School - 11:15am-Noon

(Starting September 9)  –  Children Church School (Kindergarten through 5th grade) – Room 208 - Deep Blue curriculum for children includes adventures, exciting stories, science experiments, arts and crafts, animated video storytelling, and active games – all combined into a faith experience that helps children discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ today!    

Summer "A Day" Camps

 

 

The popular one-day summer programs are held for children who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade.  The 2018 camps held at the church featured science, building, and cooking.

 

 

Youth

Sunday Church Classes 

10:00 am – Youth Bible Study (6th grade through 12 grade) – Room 209 Youth will experience the biblical narrative through storytelling, creative reflection, and dialogue. The study is an overview of the Bible, from creation to the formation of the church.

 

Sunday Youth Group

Come for Food, Fellowship,  Crazy Games, and Talk about Life. Middle School – 4:30pm to 6:00pm Sr. High – 5:30pm to 7:00pm

Confirmation

Confirmation is a time for youth to learn more about the history and functioning of the Church.  They are guided to dig deeper into their own beliefs and their relationships with God. The next class will be announced in late fall.

T.O.W.N

(Together On Wednesday Nights) is a midweek program that meets on Wednesday nights from September through April from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. TOWN is a place where church is fun and everyone matters. It offers a weekly opportunity for youth and adults to get to know the church staff and believers from a wide variety of ages. TOWN teaches that belief in Jesus Christ extends beyond Sunday morning, that the Christian life can be filled with joy and fun, and that everyone in the church is part of a believer's family. Dinner is $5 a person, $20 maximum per family.
