First Presbyterian Church fosters the spiritual growth of our children and youth through several enriching programs, including Church School, youth groups, music and more!
Our Youth Sunday school classes are offered from 10:00 to 10:45am every Sunday. In addition we also have confirmation classes, middle school fellowship, and senior high school fellowship.
The First Presbyterian Church Adult Education programs are offered on Sunday mornings and various weekdays. Each program welcomes visitors and new members at any time throughout the year.
In addition to the regular Sunday services, KLM has member retreats, Wednesday evening services, early morning prayer services on Saturdays, men’s and women’s Bible study groups, fellowship services in members’ homes once a month and very strong youth activities.
Smock Senior Ministries is a Presbyterian ministry of congregations in Indiana to enhance health, education, welfare and happiness for older adults. The services and programs are made possible due to the legacy that Frank and Laura Smock bequeathed for Presbyterian Seniors who live in the State of Indiana.
When we baptize an infant or young child it reminds us that God embraces us even before we can respond. When we baptize a youth or adult it portrays our human response to God’s initiative. Baptism for all ages is entry into a covenant community we call the church and is one of the sacraments shared in public worship.
