I’m a lifelong Presbyterian, having been baptized, confirmed, and ordained in the same church my parents were married in 65 years ago and still attend (Westminster Presbyterian, Akron, Ohio). For the past 17 years, I served as pastor of Faith Des Peres Presbyterian Church in St. Louis, Missouri. I enjoyed my ministry at Faith Des Peres very much, yet I’m ready to begin the next chapter with all of you.
My husband Terry is also a Presbyterian minister and is currently finishing interim ministry work in Missouri. This makes his work rather “portable” and it was Terry who encouraged me to submit my Personal Information Form to you. Together we have 4 children: Henry, 19, a sophomore at the College of Wooster in Ohio; Tommy, 17, a senior at Kirkwood High School who is waiting to hear back from a couple more colleges before making his final selection; Julia, 15, a freshman at Kirkwood High School, and Charlotte, 10, who is in 4th grade. All of them are involved in band or orchestra, two run cross country and track, two are Eagle Scouts, two play piano, each of them are unique individuals in their own right, and together they add up to 4 great kids. Terry and I are truly blessed.
As we begin this next chapter together, I’ll continue to hold all of you in my prayers, and I hope you will do the same for me and my family. I have no doubt that together and with God’s help, we will accomplish great things.
